This fusing plate is used with sheet glass. It is also part of a Two- step process that can be slumped into any mold after full-fusing onto plate.
For best results, we suggest using a tack fuse when firing glass onto this mold.
These Belmont Ceramic Molds have double-sided walls to create air flow and heavy clay bodies that add strength and durability. Large holes on the sides of the molds increase air circulation, ensuring that heat is evenly distributed throughout the mold and glass to give your fusible art glass the best slump possible!
Slumpy's recommends using Carolina Frit for use with pod or fusing molds.Prime your mold with Boron Nitride Spray.. Pile the Carolina Frit in an ant hill shape and full fuse.
