I have been working with the glass lab at the Crucible for the last eight years, fusing, tacking, slumping, mostly Bullseye glass, some recycled glass. Useable pieces primarily, but also sculpture pieces. Occasionally I will go through jewelry periods but I'm most comfortable with larger compositions. The tsunami vortex was an incredible image from Japan's earthquake, and the earth spiral mold evoques for me that movement. It's a little glass memorial to an unforgettable event.
